The Summer Training Program schedule is partitioned into 8-10 week, with instruction organized in lectures, seminars, group discussions and Lab session. It provides an opportunity to the students to get industrial exposure and to apply their knowledge and skill to solve the assignments at hand. The companies also get a chance to assess the potential of the trainees and consider him/her for employment. The training is not compulsory for all branches of engineering. In addition, the curriculum includes special workplace that provides participants with opportunities to examine the impact of various methodologies on specific substantive issues.

Software developers who have made important contributions to the development of web technology present informal lectures focusing on their most recent research interests. Finally, workplaces that address the practical objectives of providing technical support for computing specialists and data librarians are also offered.
